Erykah Badu featuring Gorillaz

Erykah Badu revelou ao Wall Street Journal que iria trabalhar com Gorillaz para um projecto ainda não revelado.

A entrevista foi no evento Rock the Bells em San Bernardino no passado Sábado, onde prestou uma homenagem aos seus seguidores de longa data com Baduizm.

“I’m making an album right now with a guy named Flying Lotus. I’m working on a project with The Gorillaz. I’m always doing something. It doesn’t always make headlines, but I’m always making art – always. I deliver babies. That’s what I do – that’s the art that I’m focusing on right now for the most part. I’m a midwife.”

Um Festival Muito Singular

Quatro cidades. Quatro concertos indie. Quatro artistas emergentes. Um Festival: o Singular Music Festival, organizado pela Pepe Jeans, chega a Lisboa dia 1 de Setembro.

O Clube Ferroviário, em Santa Apolónia, receberá Twin Shadow, a banda norte-americana que tem assolado os palcos com a sua voz inconfundível.

A estratégia é nobre e bem delineada: devolver à cultura urbana o apetite pela música ao vivo, num ambiente boémio, alternativo, num undergrownd cosmopolita à boa maneira europeia.

Antes de Lisboa veio Londres, e depois o festival seguirá para Berlim e Bilbao, mas em todas as cidades há um denominador comum: a simbiose entre a paisagem nocturna, o ambiente intimista e a boa música.

A Pepe Jeans promoverá o evento através das redes sociais, sorteando bilhetes e reportando os eventos em directo.
